Sunday, February 21, during the event Pianeta Birra, was held pending the award of Beer year 2010, organized by the cultural Unionbirrai. More than 300 craft beers produced by microbreweries 56 Italian evaluated blindly by a panel consisting of national and foreign tasters of absolute level. Eleven categories that defined within the parameters of production or the ingredient used, eg. fruit or chestnut, or if matured in barrels. Also this year awarded the "Brewery of the Year" identified by counting the best placement of the beers in the competition.

The brewery Valscura won the 1st prize for the best beer chestnut with its famous beer Castegna.
